Each school has a plan with specified roles and responsibilities for managing various types of emergencies. School administrators may adapt responses based on unique situations or incidents to prioritize student safety. 

Reunification

As a result of one of these scenarios, students may need to reunite with families through a controlled release at an identified location.

A school uses one of the following procedures in response to a safety issue or emergency:

*Keep phone lines open

We ask that families do not call the school during emergencies. This allows phone lines to stay open for communication with emergency personnel and school officials. It also helps school staff to remain focused on the safety of their students. The school or district will communicate any information with families as soon as possible.
