Climate Change Club is a space to share ideas, get insight on world issues, and become an advocate for people and places affected by climate change! Our focus is educational discussions and advocacy work. Instagram: @nnhs.ccc

DANCE MARATHON
Dance Marathon essentially is the collective effort of students, teachers, and the entire community surrounding District 219 to raise funds for a selected charity and where people come together and make a difference. It is an annual event that takes place in early May of every year and lasts for eight hours.

PALS
Students in Leadership/Peer Counseling learn skills for life. Decision-making, counseling and communication skills are addressed. In addition, different teen issues/topics are discussed. Peer Leadership/Counseling is open to all students. An application form is requested.

Criteria for joining club: Must be sophomores or older, civic minded, dedicated to making a difference and be counselor recommended.
RECYCLING
The recycling program is volunteer. Students at Niles North High school volunteer every Tuesday to go through out the school and collect recycling bins from teacher’s classrooms. They then are exposed to the larger picture of recycling as they empty each bin in a common area. The students contribute a precious resource to the school.

TUTORING CLUB
Tutoring Club offers free tutoring for 3rd, 4th and 5th graders in reading, writing, math and more. The tutors are high school students from Niles North.

WHO Club (We Help Others)
The W.H.O. Club is committed to providing students with expanding opportunities in the area of community service. Through activities participation in thoughtfully organized
service experience W.H.O. Club members can address significant unmet needs of the community. We organize a gift drive and travel regularly to soup kitchens.
